This training is for PPNC members who are new to image competition or who need help improving their image competition skills. The training will take place virtually every Wednesday at 7:00PM from January 18 to March 1, 2023. By registering, you will receive an email with the login info a few days prior to each session.
These Wednesday night sessions are for PPNC members who are new or new-ish to competition or who need an in-depth refresher.
Sessions will cover everything about image competition, including the 12 Elements of a Merit Image, common mistakes, proper sharpening and sizing, expectations of different photography genre, how competition is judged, how to add a presentation to a competition image and how to enter competition.
The final session will be a competition-style image review with numerical scores and a judges comments.
Participants who attend at least 4 of the 7 sessions and submit images for the review are eligible for 4 credits toward a PPNC degree or chevron.
Members who participated in the 2022 session are welcome to participate again.
Sessions will be recorded and shared via a private YouTube channel for those who participate.
